i think i can finally say now, after exactly a month, that i have adjusted soundly to college life. i am at florida state university and i love it. my boyfreind brought my camera up for me last weekend when he came. i didn't bring it when i first moved in cause my mom was worried about safety issues. better safe than sorry i guess. of course there haven't been any problems, but i've yet to do a photoshoot here as im still learning the city (i think i've got campus down) and i've been so incredibly busy!

i think my major is going to be international social work, with a double major in art therapy and a minor in spanish. if i can fit all that. i came in with a ton of credits, so with the extra push, i think i can pull it off. i am for sure studying abroad next year in valencia, spain, and whats great is that i can take a photography for non majors course.

fall hit tally three days ago. the weather has been absolutely glorious, and it always sets my mood in the most perfect of ways. im just happier with a good breeze and the need for a light jacket. i've been pretty happy lately actually. yesterday was my "spiritual birthday" i was baptized 8 years ago on September 19th. my beliefs remain the same, and i can say that i've grown so much in my personal faith that they are ever stronger.

i've been listening to ben harper alot lately. his band is playing with jack johnson this weekend in pennsylvania. i really wish i had my car at school with me, cause itd be a fabulous road trip. some day. some day.

i promise as soon as i get all of my photos uploaded on my (awesome new mac!) that i will post new entries. i haven't let my talent run off quite yet.
